Georgia ranks 39th out of 50 states in the nation for overall child and family well-being in the 2026 KIDS COUNT® Data Book, released this week by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Georgia fell six places to 45th nationally in health and we continue to struggle in the education domain. While trends in family and community show modest improvement, Georgia remains entrenched near the bottom of the nation in that domain.detailing economic well-being, education, health, and family and community factors in our county and state, our 2026 Georgia Data Profile, and our county data profile Baldwin County Profile.
